CBI Raids AIIMS Bhubaneswar Over Alleged Recruitment Scam
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raided AIIMS Bhubaneswar on Wednesday following allegations of recruitment irregularities. The operation lasted for five hours and took place inside the hospital’s Academic Block. Reports confirm that the CBI acted upon claims of unfair hiring practices.
Fake Documents Under Scrutiny
A nine-member CBI team interrogated 27 individuals, including permanent staff, and seized crucial recruitment documents. Sources revealed that five members from the same family allegedly secured government jobs using fake documents from Gorakhpur and Ghaziabad.
Irregular Hiring Practices Exposed
Initially, an outsourcing agency recruited these individuals on a contract basis. However, AIIMS Bhubaneswar later granted them permanent positions without following proper recruitment rules. This irregularity has raised serious concerns about the transparency of the hiring process.
CBI Expands Investigation
To determine the full extent of the scam, the CBI is reviewing all seized documents. Investigators suspect that several other appointments may have followed the same pattern. While the probe continues, AIIMS Bhubaneswar has yet to release an official statement.
Public Outrage Over Job Scams
As recruitment fraud cases increase across India, citizens are demanding stricter hiring policies. Many have expressed frustration on social media, urging authorities to take swift action.
What’s Next in the Case?
The CBI is expected to summon more individuals for questioning in the coming days. Officials will likely track similar fraudulent recruitments linked to the case. The investigation aims to restore transparency in government job appointments. With the probe still underway, more developments are expected soon.
