Haryana BJP election manifesto 2025 unveils 21-point plan for municipal polls, promising land rights and tax benefits.

Rohtak: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Monday released the Haryana BJP election manifesto 2025, a 21-point plan for upcoming municipal elections, emphasizing the need for a ‘triple-engine’ government to accelerate the state’s development.

The manifesto promises:

  • Ownership rights for families residing on land for over 20 years.
  • A 25% reduction in property tax for homes registered under a woman’s name.
  • Financial aid for street vendors, modern libraries, and advanced auditoriums.
  • Pink toilets with sanitary napkin vending machines and electric buses for sustainable transport.

Calling the manifesto a ‘roadmap for the state’s progress,’ Mr. Saini stated that the party had gathered public feedback from across Haryana to ensure the document reflects citizens’ aspirations.

BJP Terms Manifesto a ‘Guarantee Card,’ Criticizes Congress

During the announcement, Mr. Saini described the BJP’s manifesto as more than just a document, calling it the government’s ‘guarantee card’ for the welfare of all sections of society, including farmers, youth, women, traders, and laborers.

Responding to queries, the Chief Minister accused the previous Congress government of discrimination, claiming that the BJP had ensured uniform development across Haryana. He further asserted that the party had fulfilled all promises made in its 2019 manifesto and had already delivered on 18 out of the 240 commitments outlined in the 2024 manifesto.

Meanwhile, the Haryana Congress released its 37-point municipal poll manifesto on Sunday, pledging to rectify erroneous Property IDs, simplify house tax, improve traffic management, and establish designated street vending zones, among other initiatives.
