India Urges Nationals in Israel to Relocate After Hezbollah Attack

After a tragic anti-tank missile attack in northern Israel, India has issued a stern advisory urging its citizens, particularly those residing near the border areas, to relocate to safer zones within the country. The Indian Embassy’s advisory comes in the wake of the death of an Indian national and the injury of two others in the attack, believed to be orchestrated by the militant group Hezbollah.

The victim, identified as 31-year-old Pat Nibin Maxwell from Kerala, had only recently arrived in Israel to work on a farm. Tragically, he leaves behind a wife who is expecting another child, as well as a five-year-old daughter. The two injured individuals, Bush Joseph George and Paul Melvin, are also from Kerala.

Expressing deep grief over the incident, the Israeli Embassy in India assures that its medical institutions are fully equipped to provide assistance to the injured. Zaki Heller, spokesperson for the Magen David Adom rescue services, confirms the details of the attack, attributing it to the Shiite Hezbollah faction in Lebanon.

In response, the Israeli Embassy emphasises solidarity with India and pledges unwavering support to the affected families. They stress the importance of standing united against terrorism and offer condolences and assistance to those affected by this cowardly act of violence.
