“Starting a new chapter of life with my family. Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after,” Neeraj wrote in his post, accompanied by pictures revealing his wife, Himani, who is currently pursuing a sports-related course in the USA.
A Private Affair in Himachal
Neeraj and Himani’s wedding was an intimate destination event held in Himachal Pradesh, attended by just 40-50 close friends and family members. The functions spanned three days, from January 14 to January 16. Among the viral images, a particularly touching one featured Neeraj’s mother blessing him during a traditional ritual.
Post-wedding, the couple reportedly traveled abroad. Upon their return to India, a grand reception is planned to celebrate the union.
A Legacy Beyond Marriage
On the professional front, Neeraj Chopra continues to shine. The 27-year-old athlete is bringing a Continental Tour Javelin-Only competition to India, a dream project endorsed by World Athletics and the Athletics Federation of India (AFI). Scheduled for May this year, the event promises to feature top javelin throwers, including Neeraj himself.

Chopra’s accolades continue to pile up. Earlier this month, he was named the best male javelin thrower of 2024 by the prestigious American magazine Track and Field News. He topped the rankings for two consecutive years, overtaking two-time world champion Anderson Peters of Grenada.
