Noteworthy among these is the Kochi-Lakshadweep Islands Submarine Optical Fiber Connection (KLI-SOFC) project, aimed at addressing the internet speed challenges in the union territory. The inauguration of the Low-Temperature Thermal Desalination (LTTD) plant in Kadmat, producing 1.5 lakh litres of clean drinking water daily, and the Functional Household Tap Connections (FHTC) in Agatti and Minicoy islands are also on the agenda.
