Kerala High Court orders exclusion of Justice Ramachandran Nair from CSR scam case, after prosecution's statement. The court emphasized credibility concerns.

Justice Nair was accused in the multi-crore CSR scam involving fraudulent promises of discounted goods. Police had named him as a patron of the National NGO Confederation.

The FIR, filed by the Angadippuram Kisan Service Society, alleged a ₹34 lakh swindle. However, Justice Nair's involvement was claimed to be nominal and unfounded.

The Court also advised the Home Department to create guidelines before naming judicial officers in criminal cases, due to the potential impact on public trust.

The petitioners argued the FIR lacked legal basis and violated judicial safeguards, while the Court disposed of the case after agreeing to remove Justice Nair's name.
