On 24th February 2025, PM Modi released the 19th instalment of PM-KISAN, transferring ₹22,000 crore to 9.8 crore farmers, including 2.41 crore women farmers.

PM-KISAN supports farmers with ₹6,000/year in three instalments via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), ensuring financial aid directly to their Aadhaar-linked accounts.

The PM-KISAN app, launched in 2020, includes features like face authentication, enabling remote farmers to complete e-KYC for transparent registration.

In 2023, PM-KISAN introduced an AI chatbot offering multilingual support, improving grievance management and making it easier for farmers to track benefits.

PM-KISAN has distributed over ₹3.46 lakh crore since its launch. The scheme has reached millions, enhancing farmers’ financial inclusion and rural growth.

In 2023-24, PM-KISAN added over 1 crore farmers, with Uttar Pradesh and Bihar leading in beneficiary numbers, improving rural livelihoods nationwide.
